چکیده
Abstract Continuous-variable quantum key distribution (CVQKD) has potential advantages of high secret rate, which is very suitable for high-speed metropolitan network application. However, the rates reported CVQKD systems are only a few Mbps over typical transmission distance so far. Here, we address fundamental experimental problems and demonstrate single-carrier four-state with sub-Gbps rate within area. In demonstrated using local oscillator, an ultra-low level excess noise obtained efficient post-processing setup designed practically extracting final secure keys. Thus, achieved 190.54 Mbps, 137.76 52.48 linear channel assuming security analysis method 233.87 133.6 21.53 semidefinite programming distances 5 km, 10 km 25 respectively. This result increases asymptotic to level, sufficient achieve one-time pad cryptographic task. Moreover, our work shows road future high-rate large-scale deployment in broadband access networks.

High-bit-rate continuous-variable quantum key distribution
Quantum key distribution (QKD) [1] has been the most studied quantum information technology primitive for the past twenty years. In a practical QKD protocol, Alice and Bob can extract an arbitrary amount of secret key using an untrusted physical channel (also called a quantum channel), provided a few minimum assumptions such as they have access to a public authenticated channel. Contrary to cla...
متن کاملSingle-quadrature continuous-variable quantum key distribution
Most continuous-variable quantum key distribution schemes are based on the Gaussian modulation of coherent states followed by continuous quadrature detection using homodyne detectors. In all previous schemes, the Gaussian modulation has been carried out in conjugate quadratures thus requiring two independent modulators for their implementations. Here, we propose and experimentally test a largel...
متن کاملIterative Secret Key Rate Adapting with Error Minimization for Continuous-Variable Quantum Key Distribution
We define an iterative error-minimizing secret key adapting method for multicarrier CVQKD. A multicarrier CVQKD protocol uses Gaussian subcarrier quantum continuous variables (CVs) for the transmission. The proposed method allows for the parties to reach a given target secret key rate with minimized error rate through the Gaussian subchannels by a sub-channel adaption procedure. The adaption al...
متن کاملLow-Dimensional Reconciliation for Continuous-Variable Quantum Key Distribution
We propose an efficient logical layer-based reconciliation method for continuous-variable quantum key distribution (CVQKD) to extract binary information from correlated Gaussian variables. We demonstrate that by operating on the raw-data level, the noise of the quantum channel can be corrected in the low-dimensional (scalar) space, and the reconciliation can be extended to arbitrary dimensions....
متن کاملAdaptive Quadrature Detection for Multicarrier Continuous-Variable Quantum Key Distribution
We propose the adaptive quadrature detection for multicarrier continuous-variable quantum key distribution (CVQKD). A multicarrier CVQKD scheme uses Gaussian subcarrier continuous variables for the information conveying and Gaussian sub-channels for the transmission. The proposed multicarrier detection scheme dynamically adapts to the subchannel conditions using a corresponding statistics which...
